ORA-01439

Error: ORA-01439: column to be modified must be empty to change datatype

Causa: An ALTER TABLE MODIFY statement attempted to change the datatype of a column containing data. A column whose datatype is to be altered must contain only NULL values.

Acción: To alter the datatype, first set all values in the column to NULL.
