ORA-16779

Error: ORA-16779: The destination parameter of some site has wrong syntax

Causa: The destination is defined in the initialization parameter file with wrong syntax, and the Data Guard broker fails to update the destination when the log transport is turned on.

Acción: Check the Data Guard console log to see which site has the problem. Fix the syntax error in the initialization parameter file or remove the entry. Check if the syntax of the log transport related properties are correct.
